Texas A&M Health Faculty ranks among the top 2 percent of scientists worldwide

Several faculty members at the A&M University Center for Health Science (Texas A&M Health) rank among the top 2 percent of scientists worldwide, according to a study conducted by Stanford University.

The “Top 2% of Scientists in the World” is a publicly available database of the 100,000 most cited authors from all scientific fields. It was compiled by researchers at Stanford University using data from Elsevier’s Scopus - a curated database of abstracts and citations of peer-reviewed literature - and takes into account six citation metrics. It includes two different versions: one-year performance and career-long performance. The following Texas scientists for A&M Health appear on the list of long careers, which evaluates scientists for the impact of their quotes from 1996 to the end of 2020.
