RAGBRAY Mason City announced on Wednesday night that Don Felder and Sugar Rai will be the two main performers who will perform on July 27, while over 10,000 drivers will spend the night in the city. Several musicians were also revealed as partying.
“Many years ago, I noticed that one of the best things about RAGBRAI was that there seemed to be a team for everyone. “We’ve worked hard to make sure our party in Mason City reflects that spirit,” said Nancy Lund, RAGBRAI Executive Board Mason City Chair # 3.
Felder, a former lead guitarist for the legendary rock band Eagles, has been working as a soloist since 2001. Felder is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and a four-time Grammy winner.
Felder’s solo career has produced several albums and his well-known hit single “Heavy Metal (Takin ‘a Ride)”. His latest album is “American Rock ‘N’ Roll”, according to his official website.

The guitarist spent 27 years with the Eagles, who sold more than 150 million albums. Throughout his career, Felder has recorded and performed with bands such as The Bee Gees, Peter Frampton and Alice Cooper.
The ubiquitous, 90s alt-pop band Sugar Rai will perform at RAGBRAY in Mason City on Wednesday, July 27th.

Sugar Ray has been rocking for three decades, known for hits like “Fly” and “Every Morning”. The band was founded in 1988 by vocalist Mark McGrath and lead guitarist Rodney Shepard, according to the official website.
The California-based group shared the stage with The Rolling Stones, KISS and the Sec Pistols. Sugar Rai has sold over 10 million records, had four top 10 songs and millions of streams.
Sugar Ray’s sound is categorized as alternative rock or skate punk. The band’s latest album, “Lil Iachti”, was released in 2019.
In addition to entertainment on the main stage, RAGBRAY Mason City revealed 13 on the Seven, Danny Grause and Brad Morgan as supporting performances on stage.
Rock and grunge cover band from the 90’s 13 on Seven will perform on the stage of Muse Norris Side Stage. Grause, whose music is described as a mixture of country and blues, will be in the main pavilion. Morgan will accompany Grause with his relaxed country sound.
“From the smaller bands we present on the side stages to the world-famous artists from the main stage and the special surprise guests we bring, I think riders and everyone who comes to help celebrate the Ride of the Century will go find something they love,” he said. Lund. “Believe me, we have a party worth staying in Mason City.”
Admission to all performances will be free.
Mason City has been announced as the night stop for the Annual Big Bike Ride across Iowa for the 2022 event in late January. The cyclists will enter “River City” on July 27.
RAGBRAY is a seven-day bike ride through the state of Iowa, and 2022 is the 48th tour of this event. According to RAGBRAY, the event is the oldest, longest and largest recreational cycling event in the world.
